The Question

Unjust bias and Discrimination against persons with mental illness has gotten much worse since the 1950’s. We are trending in the wrong direction as a society and as a world – and unnecessary suffering is the price being paid.

  • “Persons with a Mental Illness are often blamed for their illness as a personal failure or a flaw in their character.”
  • “This creates barriers for these persons to get and maintain employment, being allowed to be a productive member of the community, find housing and independence, or even receive life saving medical treatment.”
